… hoping this message finds you, your family, and friends healthy and in good spirits. It has been nearly four months since we have seen anyone for in person events. While this is far too long for our liking, we are committed to following all recommendations for social distancing and event management in order to keep everyone safe and healthy.
As restrictions begin to ease, you will notice we are not scheduling in person events. In accordance with updated guidelines from The Penn State Alumni Association, we will refrain from hosting in person events at least through the end of summer. We are hoping this does not continue into football season but are planning for that possibility.
… transitioning our annual Student Send-off Picnic into a Virtual Send-off & Q&A for our local students. The Send-off will be sometime in late July or early August. Join us to show our students and their families that the local Alumni are here to support them!
… Committed to representing all Penn State Alumni. The Alumni Association has adopted the following statement which we will continue to embody and promote:
|“The Penn State Alumni Association is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive membership, one where all identities, experiences, and backgrounds come together to create a strong and welcoming alumni community representative of the Penn Staters it proudly serves.”|
We Are at our best when we are united, working together, and able to lean on each other for support in times of need.
