We Are…
… Fighting Hunger in Ohio!
Week 7 has our Nittany Lions in on the road in ‘The Big House’. As the Lions and Wolverines battle on the grid iron, our alumni in Central Ohio will battle hunger in Ohio.
We had hoped for a joint game watch and charity drive with the Michigan Alumni but that joint event didn’t work out this year (maybe next year). Our Chapter will still be collecting donations for the Mid Ohio Food Collective. Join us at Joe’s Pub & Grill in Powell for the noon game and to fight hunger in Ohio. Look for us in the room behind the fireplace.
Mid Ohio will accept all donations. They have expressed a need for these items in particular: peanut butter, canned soup, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta (whole grain preferred), canned meats (tuna and ham) and personal care items (tooth paste, shampoo, soap, feminine hygiene products). Let’s makes this the largest Penn State gathering in Ohio this year!
Our events are always open to all Nittany Lion fans – please join us and remember to wear your Penn State gear. You do not have to be a member of the Penn State Alumni Association to attend – you just have to love watching our Nittany Lions!
