Welcome to the Central Ohio Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association!

The Central Ohio Chapter is the official chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association for Franklin County and the surrounding counties. All Penn State Alumni and fans are welcome to participate in Chapter events.

The Central Ohio Chapter, and all Alumni Association Chapters, are run by Alumni volunteers. We are always looking for area Alumni who want to keep the Penn State spirit alive!

Getting started is easy! Come to an event, follow us on social media, and sign up for our email newsletter. If you have ideas for activities or events, email us. Our monthly Board meetings are open to all area Alumni. Join us for a meeting!

  • We have worked with the Market Bar in North Market at Bridge Park to host a Happy Hour. The Market Bar is helping us support THON! From 5-7pm, Thursday, Feb 20, 10% of sales will be pledged to THON.

    Meet up with fellow Penn Staters, unwind in a great atmosphere, and join the fight to end pediatric cancer. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • This Sunday, 2/9/25, our 6th ranked Lions will meet the Buckeyes’ 5th rank squad in the Covelli Center.

    The meet starts at 1pm. Come out and cheer on our Lions in this exciting contest of top ranked teams!


  • As Penn Staters, we are all proud of the our annual Panhellenic Dance Marathon, affectionately known as THON.

    On Friday, February 21st, the dancers will stand up at 6pm to start a 46 hour marathon. Two students from Central Ohio will be among the thousands of students volunteering to help end pediatric cancer.

    Granville will be represented by Izzy Priano and Westerville by Zack Groger. Izzy will be dancing while Zack is supporting THON as a member of the Rules and Regulations Committee.

  • The Men’s volleyball squad will be in Columbus several times this winter.

    Come cheer for our Lions, Sunday, 1/26/25, when they face the Buckeyes at 3pm in the Covelli Center. Volleyball is a non-ticketed sport so it’s free admission!

    The following week, Ohio State is hosting the Big10 Challenge at the Covelli Center. The Lions take on UCLA Bruins at 4pm, Friday 1/31/25. Saturday, 2/1/25, Penn State meets the USC Trojans at 4pm. We have confirmed this event is also free!


  • Hello Central Ohio Nittany Lions! As you know, the semi-final game is coming up THIS THURSDAY, JAN 9th, and we need YOU to help cheer on our Nittany Lions!

    Join us at Pizza Cottage (8753 Owensfield Dr Powell, OH 43065) @7:30PM to help cheer them on!
